MKBv4 and MKBv6, MKBv7, MKBv8 Processing Keys found

Two days ago i was googling around and came accross some sort of japanese looking website which had something on it that looked like MKBv4 and MKBv7 (Edit: actually MKBv6 up to MKBv8) Processing Keys. I couldn't believe that, tested them and they do work (the first MKBv4 key however does not decrypt my discs)!!

I don't know why this hasn't made big news yet, they seem to be there for some time now, but no info from where they came from. This is what the community is waiting for a long time now, i don't know why the author hasn't made them more public, they are Processing Keys and will become obsolete anyway. Of course, they will probably reveal the AACS licensed source they came from, but i bet the licensees are forced to change their hiding code every time a new MKB is released.

So i post them here, whoever has worked them out, thank you very much! I won't give the website here for obvious reasons, but it seems it's not so hard to find it when you know what to look for .

Code:
MKBv4:
F190BCF8153C8598ACF9640D8271FB08
F190A1E8178D80643494394F8031D9C8

MKBv6, MKBv7, MKBv8:
7A5F8A09F833F7221BD41FA64C9C7933
With a XBox-Drive or a hacked Blu-Ray drive the community is now on the same level as SlySoft, except BD+, but maybe these new keys bring fresh air into the further development.

I think only the second one is a processing key. Also, if the second one is, there are very little chances the first one is as well

Besides BD+, AACS v11 is already out, AFAIK, and AnyDVD HD already supports it...

EDIT: Or maybe I'm mixing something up, don't know...

Doh! None of those keys work for the MKBv4 disc i have here. I was just about to post the vuk
There are probably several different processing keys needed to decrypt all discs of MKB generation 4. Can anyone confirm?

EDIT: The second key (F190A1E...) is working for me to. There is a bug in the amd64 linux release of aacskeys. If you are having the same problems use the 32 bit version which is working fine.

Hmm, thats strange, i thought all MKBs from one generation are identical, however i never checked this. I have tested these keys only with Bourne Ultimatum and Transformers, i will check if i have other MKBv4 titles and test them too.

The actual data forming the MKBs for different discs within the same MKB generation would always be different, because the media key within the MKB is different for each disc.

The multiple encrypted copies of the media key in an MKB can only be decrypted by processing keys corresponding to the S-D sets defined by the MKB. I suspect what you meant is that you thought the same S-D sets were always defined and the same processing keys were always used within a single MKB generation. That's what I thought too, so I'll be interested to see what you find with other MKBV4 titles.

YES !

I know already ! I'm using the F190A1E8 key !

I just wanted to point out the first key didn't work. Confirming OP findings.
Also refering to Oopho2ei's post ! The keys don't seem to work for him.

I'm good all my disks play fine from harddisk !

greets

I'm thinking of updating my "Blu-ray Disc Ripper" so that it outputs to .iso file. Started reading UDF specs already.

Sorry for posting false information. I was using the amd64 Version of aacskeys for linux and it was just looping not producing and output but the "Current path:" line. The Intel 80386 compile (linux32) is working fine with the second key (F190A1E8..). I've already reported the problem.

Yes, it took at least 10 seconds to find. I didn't have much luck trying to translate, but if anyone here translates or studies those pages, I'd appreciate a summary of what they find out.

Does this mean that all HD DVD discs can now be ripped without requiring AnyDVD HD?

If I understand correct yes BUT only for the x-box drive or some with patched firmware.

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=139522

The authentication can't be done on other drives because the certificate is no longer valid resulting in this error. 'The given Host Certificate / Private Key has been revoked by your drive'

Until a new key is found some drives still need AnyDVD-HD.

greets

The Toshiba SD-H802A drive also works out of the box, and for others there is still DumpVID. Aacskeys currently can't handle discs which don't have a VTKF000.AACS file, but that will be fixed in a future release. Otherwise all HD-DVDs can be decrypted free of charge now .

Do you feel like giving us a summary? I know the XBOX drives have been hacked to get the Volume ID. I've seen a firmware hack for other drives that will cause them to deliver the VID. Why does the Toshiba SD-H802A drive "work out of the box" and what is the importance of VTKF000.AACS?

Thanks.

The XBox "hack" is not like the firmware hacks for the Plextor and LG drives, you don't need to modify the drive, it knows some special commands which give you the goodies for free. The hack here was basically to figure out these commands and how to use them. And the SD-H802A (basically beeing a XBox drive) knows these commands too, so the current XBox "hack" works for this drive too, no need to modify anything .

VTKF000.AACS is the file on HD-DVD Advanced Content discs that contains the encrypted Title Keys. Actually, one of the files, there can be 1000 of these. But aacskeys looks only for this file, calculates the DiscID from it and decrypts its Title Keys. It's very common that a HD-DVD with Advanced Content has this file, but a small number of titles don't have it, they start with a higher number, e.g. 80. In that case, DumpHD uses the file with the lowest number, this has to be implemented in aacskeys as well.

What i am not quite sure about is if all of these Title Key files have to contain all the Title Keys used on a disc. The spec cleary says there are only 64 Title Keys, a Title Key file can contain up 64 Title Keys, and on all discs i saw all the Title Key files had the full set of Title Keys in them. But is that a must? Imagine this, a disc with two titles, title one uses Title Key one, title two uses Title Key two, but the Title Key file for title one only containts key one and the one for title two only key two. Is that allowed? Has that been used? If thats the case, there is even more work to do left. Well, maybe thats a bit OT for this thread.
