Interlace problem with TMPGenc 2.5 Plus

Hi,

Recently I encoded a vob file to avi using Virtualdubmod 1.5.10.1 with DIVx 6.0 codec. I even deinterlaced the dvd file using the 'Blend' mode in the deinterlace filter in vdubmod. When I fed that avi file in Tmpgenc 2.5 Plus, it said that the Video type : Interlace
Field Order : Bottom Field first(field B)

How can that avi be interlaced when I deinterlaced it ?
Please can someone help me in this.

Varun.

TMPG defaults to interpreting as interlaced. it doesn't mean the video actually is interlaced, rather it means that TMPG will play it safe and encode it as if it were. it's a default, and you can easily just tell it that your video isn't interlaced, if it really isn't.
