Did the 900 series also get an upgrade to HDMI 2.0a for HDR metedata?
Yep, all the 900 series supports HDR.

As for monitor - Dell P2317H (1920x1080, 60 hz).
Your card is great, i'm a beginner as well, but imho that card is a sweet spot one.

your rendertiems are to high. try to lower some settings so the AVG rendertime is under 40 ms so a 24 fps source can be rendered in realtime.

for better results give 24p mode a chance or smoothmotion.
sadly the mojority of TV can't do 24p properly and in this case smoothmtoion is closer to a real cinema experience.

I think it's because of the last Intel video driver (23.20.16.4901 - Intel HD 520) but I'm not sure.
All the renders works good except for madVR.
you get a blackscreen when madVR switches between windowed fullscreen or windowed.
try overlay or d3d9 but you can ignore it too it will not harm image quality.

i can do a guess that is may have something todo with the hdmi "type" that switches between d3d11 windowed fullscreen and and d3d11 windowed.

nvidia has something like this under "adjust desktop colour settings" -> "Content reported to the display: auto-select".
with that active i saw something similar with a normal screen maybe intel has something like this too. sorry i can't test this.

Get rid of reduce banding and ringing for starters and possibly switch to ordered dithering.

Maybe just try cheaper downscaling like Bicubic 60 or Catmull-Rom

Madvr Settings

Hi Guys,
Newb here.
Trying to get my movies to stop being jerky.
We are in Australia my TV is an lg55LF6300
connected to Onkyo TX-NR929 HTPC nvidia gforce GTX 750 Ti driver 388.59 windows 10 16gb ram
Jriver v23 and I bitstream.

Some help with madvr settings would be much appreciated.
I tried Full screen exclusive that did not work as the screen went black, irt would come on when the mouse was moved then straight back to black screen.

I suggest turning on smooth motion (under rendering).

What do you think? The last few pages have been basically dealing with your constant enquiries.

I cannot see the image. Don't attach images here, they usually don't get approved, at least not quickly. Post it on a hosting site and link it here.

Miaden your present queue is the problem, try d3d11, try exclusive mode, do you have any apps open that could be interfering with madVR?

Yeah ok, at this point I'd reinstall the graphics drivers after uninstalling and then try resetting madVR to defaults if nothing changes.

general settings tick use d3d11. Thing is I never had any issues with the 750Ti and d3d9 so I doubt this will make a difference.
