Help me! please ...

When I click the button " Start " I obtain the following error message: " (RT) failure to write in file (c:\ProgramFiles\multiAVCHD\cleannow.cmd) (File access denied) - Line 4456. "
even in the simplest case of a compilation of a single file .MTS, about is the mode selected (Panasonic blu-ray players, AVCHD compatible players, ...)

I cannot use any more this software and I do not see what I can make.

Thank you in advance for your remarks.

I think you're the same guy that emailed me:

It is related probably to your security/antivirus program. There were some user reports that Kaspersky denies access of multiAVCHD to its own folder.

Thanks you very much,
Indeed after deleting the report of Kaspersky, the bug disappeared. So I will convert my first file.

Thank you Dean for your answer.
With another software I also had a problem with Kapersky but I think of having found the solution.
I used the software 'InstalledCodec" which indicated me an error on one of my codecs, the codec "PICVideo 3M-JMeg Vfw Codec". After disabled it, multi AVCHD began working. I go still tested but I think that it is the origin of the problem.

One again, thank you for your answer and for your excellent software.

Cordialement.

Build 708:

2 options in Menu tab / XMB :

[x] Do not show language IDs
[x] Expand language IDs

1 option in "Subtitles & Audio" tab

Set undetected audio and subtitle language IDs to: [und]

***

First two options are for XMB menu only. In previous versions you would only see: Audio: DTS 6ch or Subtitles: 2 tracks. With these new options you can configure XMB to show:

(if "expand LID" option is used)
Audio: English (DTS 6ch), French (AC3 6ch)
Subtitles: 2 tracks (English, French)

(if "expand LID" option is NOT used)
Audio: Eng (DTS 6ch), Fra (AC3 6ch)
Subtitles: 2 tracks (Eng, Fra)

The last option will force multiAVCHD to use the entered language id (default is und) if subtitles or audio tracks do not contain language information.

Dean

p.s. Both 32bit and 64bit versions of x264 are updated (in full-download) to:

x264 0.77.1292M
built by techouse on Oct 13 2009, gcc: 4.4.1

p.s.2 All language files are updated so translators can translate language names for lid expansion option

Code:
#
# Language IDs (LIDs) expansion
# you can add as many as you wish and you can add multiple lid->language definitions for the same language
# for example: fra->French and fre->French
#
LID;0;eng;English

LID;0;spa;Spanish
LID;0;bul;Bulgarian
LID;0;rus;Russian
LID;0;chi;Chinese Simplified
LID;0;zho;Chinese Traditional
LID;0;pol;Polish
LID;0;por;Portuguese
LID;0;gre;Greek
LID;0;tur;Turkish
LID;0;rom;Romanian
LID;0;ita;Italian
LID;0;dut;Dutch
LID;0;jpn;Japanese

A late addition to build 708:

Option to PAUSE/RESUME encoding/muxing and to change process priority while transcoding:

You need full download or process.exe in tools folder.

THE PROBLEM is that everything looks stretched somehow, more than 16:9 (everybody look fat...). I tried checking the "keep 16:9 aspect ration" but no good.
Any suggestions?
Guys, anyone have an idea?

Can you upload one of your bare MTS files (a small sample) so I can take a look? (you can use rapidshare if the file is <200mb)

***

A quick update for build 708(+):

* Changed the way x264_64bit.exe is called. It may fix the problem in 64bit OS, using 64bit version of x264 included in tools folder.

* New option in Menu tab for Thumbnail menu (THM): [x] Do not show page numbers (THM)

* Fix for Viera SDHC SD_VIDEO output - there was a bug, when imported MPEG/VOB files have no audio

Build 709:

Two new options in "Settings" tab:

[x] Auto set transcode for non-compliant titles
[-] Discard settings from project files (mpf)

*****

First option will make multiAVCHD auto-set proper uncrop/transcode parameters for files/titles with non-compliant resolution, codec or ref-frames - it will do it on file load.

Second option will make multiAVCHD discard project settings when you import an old compilation - it will not overwrite your current multiAVCHD settings (like fonts, texts, checkboxes, etc...)

Do you write the output to DVD disc? Because if you do so, it is most probably the high bitrate, that causes your troubles.

If it happens only with your own recordings, then you may want to check your DVR setbox settings.

1) You don't need "Stricter AVCHD..." option with Blu-ray output. It is ignored anyway
2) Try to load you VOB file directly in multiAVCHD and transcode it to 1080p (not that I can see the reason in doing it).

If you're using other tools before multiAVCHD - I can't really help you with the problem.

Two new resize resolutions are added in "Transcode" window (also auto selected when loading non-compliant SD titles for transcoding):

720x360 (NTSC)
720x432 (PAL)

Both resolutions are required for WIDE SCREEN (film/cinema) videos (movie AR 2.35:1) when converting SD content (width <= 720 pixels).

Example:

Input video: 720x304, square pixel WS AR 2.35:1, PAL 25fps
Resized to: 720x432
Uncropped to: 720x576, anamorphic 16:9 (keeping 2.35:1 + black bars to fill up the 16:9 area)

or

Input video: 640x272, square pixel WS AR 2.35:1, NTSC 23.976fps
Resized to: 720x360
Uncropped to: 720x480, anamorphic 16:9 (keeping 2.35:1 + black bars to fill up the 16:9 area)

In other words, these resize options allow for WS sq. pixel AR to 16:9 anamorphic PAL/NTSC for Standard definition (SD) videos (width less or equal to 720 pixels). Both resolutions are added to uncropMKV, too.

Dean

p.s. Also fixed:

* Wrong GOP/keyint setting when transcoding while changing original framerate - proper keyint is now set to follow new framerate.
* "Preview" button kept appearing while there is no mux/transcode running - now stays hidden as it should be.
* Updated translations for German, Chinese Simp&Trad and Turkish languages

Thank you deank,
I uploaded one MTS file for you to check.
http://rapidshare.com/files/295169645/00021.MTS.html

Just to be clear - the file stays the same after the use of multiAVCHD, but somehow the .CPI files (or something else) is telling iMovie the wrong aspect ratio.

Please tell me, if you find the right work flow for me...
Thank you.

What output mode do you use with your file? I tried it and aspect ratio is correct (16:9).

Try to process your mts files with Panasonic SDHC, Playstation 3 or AVCHD output buttons (not the viera buttons).

Build 710:

[20/10/2009] build 710 - Automatic PAL->NTSC slowdown and NTSC->PAL speedup for Viera PAL/NTSC modes, eliminating the need of transcoding.

It should be now possible for Viera users to play NTSC content on PAL Vieras and PAL content on NTSC Vieras without re-encoding the video.

Available for MKV, MP4, M2TS, MTS, TS, TRP and H.264/AVC AVI files.
