Hello,
is it possible to add to future version of DGIndex also support for DTS tracks in TS files? It is used for HighDef videos and the only program that can extract DTS from TS is ProjectX but it is written in Java and not working for me Or does anyone know any other program that can do that? Thanks in advance

The request was just to improve usability.

When saving to different filename now I have to do these unnecessary things:
- specify another filename
- delete new project file after saving
- rename demuxed audio files (according to the name of main project)

If you provide a source transport stream that I can use for testing, then it is possible. I have no such material.

I have altered my QuantDump utility to provide the frame numbers. Can you please test that and if it is satisfactory, let me know and I will update DGIndex the same way. Thank you.

It's a command line utility. So you should be able to put the path in quotes and have it work. If not, please tell me what your command line is that does not work.

DGMPGDec 1.4.7 beta 4

DGMPGDec 1.4.7 beta 4:

* The quants log now includes the frame numbers at which the matrices appear.

* Fixed garbage in the file list caused when hitting the Up button with an empty list.

* Fixed bug in AVS template support that caused paths with spaces to fail.

Command line:C:\Test\QuantDump.exe C:\Test\Abba Zappa.mpg C:\Test\Abba Zappa.txt: Not working

Command line:C:\Test\QuantDump.exe C:\Test\AbbaZappa.mpg C:\Test\AbbaZappa.txt: Working

Other aspects of your tool are working great!

Cheers

MPEG-2 with DTS .TS audio sample

Hi Donald,

I've uploaded an 80 MB .TS sample to your ftp server....

If memory serves it contains 3No audio tracks in total. 1No 6Ch AC3 stream (in English), 1No 6Ch AC3 stream (in German) and 1No 6Ch DTS stream (in English)...

Cheers and thanks

@Taurus
just to complete Boulder's iformation...

"C:\Test\QuantDump.exe" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.mpg C:\Test\Abba Zappa.txt"

the quotes around "C:\Test\QuantDump.exe" is not needed in your case but if you have the executable on a folder like "test app" then you really need to use them... something like:

"C:\Test app\QuantDump.exe" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.mpg C:\Test\Abba Zappa.txt"

Actually, a bit more like:

"C:\Test\QuantDump.exe" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.mpg" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.txt"

Unless I'm missing something...

Corrected examples:

"C:\Test\QuantDump.exe" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.mpg" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.txt"

"C:\Test app\QuantDump.exe" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.mpg" "C:\Test\Abba Zappa.txt"

With DVD 'The Beatles - Help!' there's a timeline navigation problem.

Here's a part of d2v project:

Code:
900 6 0 229392384 9 3 72 73 d0 f1 f2 e3 f0 f1 e2 f3 f0 e1
900 6 0 229431296 9 3 72 73 d0 f1 f2 e3 f0 f1 e2 f3 f0 e1
900 6 0 229468160 9 3 72 72 d2 e2
900 6 0 229519360 10 1 d2
d00 6 0 229529600 11 1 d3 f0 f1 e2 f3 f0 e1 f2 f3 e0
900 6 0 229570560 11 1 70 70 d0 f0 f0 e0 f0 f0 e0 f0 f0 e0
900 6 0 229752832 11 1 70 70 d0 f0 f0 e0 f0 f0 e0 f0 f0 e0
When navigating forward over vob 10, there's no indication about it in window's title -- there are 'vob 9' and then 'vob 11'.
When navigating backwards, it's ok -- 'vob 11', 'vob 10' and 'vob 9' are shown.

I can provide a sample, but I don't know good tools for cutting VOB files..
