Does it mean that multiAVCHD already support this functionality?
As I tried a BDMW structure with some files greater than 4 GB the copy process of multiAVCHD stopped with an error message. M2TS split on TsMuxer tab is defined with 3999. Is there another option which must be activated?

Regards.

Choose a higher value in the tab (3999=4GB).

I recomend use 10000 (10GB)..

I deank,
I think that you have a problem with movies with resolutions of 1280x536, 1280x544 and 1280x534, i.e., movies with maximum vertical resolution of 576p. You detect that the best output will be a 576p film and that results on playing the movies not in HD but in SD. I'm having this problem with my PS3 connected to a Sony FullHD LCD.
I think that you should force a HD resolution of 720p or 1080p and not having the ability of choosing SD resolutions.

No, there is not. The option is for MKV->AVCHD conversion only. When and IF I decide I may implement input AVCHD splitting.

Funny post really. Read again what I've posted. I don't "detect" anything, nor I decide either your PS3 will play anything at any resolution. I too, not force SD instead of HD, nor I will answer to similar posts anymore. For best AVCHD compatible results use COMPATIBLE INPUT.

And, NO, I personally don't have "problems" with movies... with ANY movie.

Hi Deank,

Now all is going smoth - 3 source .ts files = 3 titles in the film.
But no menu titles - only the initial screen with MULTIAVHCD. Any button pressed gives no action. I have to call Title search menu and put manually the title number I need.

Built 201, authoring options are Create top menu, Light / static menu and all three options in the right column are checked, others are not.

Why?

I don't know why. I tested on PAL PS3 and it works with FULL-PAL download - also with LITE-PAL download. Check what video-system you selected in drop down menu in Authoring.

If nothing helps - just use the former versions menu - check [x] Show non-existent titles in the same authoring tab.

I'd suggest you DELETE your MULTIAVCHD folder and download PALFULL again.

Same issue here too - tested with 3 titles and the disc just shows the initial screen on PS3 and no way to get past it that I can see...

I suggested to use

[x] Show non-existent titles

Check it and try again. It will be easier to test with USB instead of burning disk.

Also try with PAL/NTSC in drop-down, or delete _MENUSTR\00002.litePAL1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Somewhere in the LOG tab you should see:

[12:49:42] Preparing authoring information...
[12:49:42] Copying 1 sec blank video data.
[12:49:42] Creating static/lite top PAL menu.
[12:49:42] Trying to download 00002.litePAL1...
[12:49:47] Proper lite menu Page #1 downloaded!
[12:49:47] Setting menu for 1 titles...

OK, re downloaded the complete PAL package (previously had NTSC I think) and deleted the full multiAVCHD folder and re-created it with latest download. Added the 3 titles and de-selected Show non-existent titles. Created a multiBD, burnt with ImgBurn and still have the same issue (stuck on intro screen).

Running same test now with
[x] Show non-existent titles so will report back when complete.

Edit: [x] Show non-existent titles worked.....

Will do. Whats the method of getting the PS3 to read a USB hard disc? FAT32 I guess and do the videos have to be in a folder?

Also, since update I've started occasionally getting this error. Restarting multiAVCHD appears to fix:

Just put the AVCHD folder on the root, then "play" that folder on PS3.

deank, i'm getting the menu error too on the last build. I get the menu and no options and the PS3 wont play anything beyond the menu. I'm trying now with "skip menu" option to see what it does.

Copied output to USB stick and it works great! Issue lies with DVD-R output then...

Thanks very much for testing. I'm still away from home and tonite i'm flying back so I'll do tests myself tomorrow morning.

I hope I'll be able to fix the issue with multiBD output.
