Question about substituting video files in Blu-ray structure
OK, here's the scenario, I have the new Adobe Encore which I got so I could create pop-up menu's. I have LOADS of BD legal 1080p videos (h.264) but Encore wants to transcode them all
is it possible to create a project in Encore with very small video files (including pop-up menu's), let it build the folders and then me replace the video files with the ones I made earlier? what other files would I need to alter? has anyone done this with pop-up menu's before? cheers |

what does it want to transcode them in?
I never used the new encore before, (only have the sd version). But I know there was always a setting in the properties of each file/timeline where you could say if you wanted to transcode the video file or not. Try that? Srry if it doesn't help much Also check if you haven't by any chance made your menus in a different fps than your video, maybe encore wants to transcode because of it? (wild guess) Last edited by nazo-gema; 31st October 2008 at 06:32. |

Have you given it a go with eac3to, ie demux+re-name to 264 method? EDIT: BD rips is Ok with this method but DVD-HD rips is impossible; i don't know why? Last edited by rica; 5th November 2008 at 22:47. |
