Will I notice any improvements?

My laptop has a GTX 1080 graphics card and it has a 1080p screen and I am watching movies on my 43 inch 1080p tv by using PotPlayer.

My movie library is mostly made up of RARBG 1080p x265 movies. The problem with them is that RARBG insisted on encoding all of their movies by using 2000 kb/s video bitrate and that may not be enough for some movies.

I am using shaders in PotPlayer to improve how my movies look. The shaders that I am using in pre-resize are:
1) Sharpen.txt from https://drive.usercontent.google.com...FFlGFbqa9XK3V8
2) CAS-dx9.hlsl from https://gist.github.com/butterw/ceb8...17660fb4bacaa3

The shaders that I am using in post-resize are:
1) Contrast.10.hlsl from https://github.com/butterw/bShaders/...ntrast.10.hlsl
2) Grain.hlsl from https://github.com/butterw/bShaders/...ise/grain.hlsl

I had to put the 2 sharpening shaders in pre because some videos got artifacts if I put them in post.

I am considering installing madVR on my laptop and I will follow this guide https://linustechtips.com/topic/9246...video-quality/.

I want to ask:

1) will I see any improvements in how the movie looks and it will look nicer than how my movies currently look when I am using shaders? I did some tests on my other laptop which has an intel graphics card and I installed madVR on it but the movies looked exactly the same.

2) Is GTX 1080 good enough for madVR?

3) Has anyone tested madVR on 1080p RARBG x265 movies? If yes then how did they look?

4) Is it ok if i use madVR to enhance how 1080p movies look on a 1080p tv or I need to use a higher resolution tv like a 4k tv?
