Is there a way to run processes at higher priority than automkv?. I am using 0.93a and my encoder (x264.exe) runs at lowest prio, just like automkv.exe and they are fighting for CPU time (both around 50% on c2d cpu). If I manually change the priority so that x264.exe is NORMAL then x264 gets most of the cpu cycles.

This is using mp4 container and x264 for video with nero (SEE3 version) for audio.

edit:

Also on Vista64 ultimate is there any speed to be gained from using 64bit versions of dgindex and x264 from here ? http://members.optusnet.com.au/squid_80/

Kool check out my installers for this AutoMKV 0.93a and RipBot264 \/\/down\/\/ in my signature... More are coming for other OSS and Closed Source software's.

PM me if you have any comments or concerns or if you have bugs with the installers...

PS the new 0.95beta21 can be accessed through the start menu if you would like to test the most recent version...

@nanorch

i'll check...

@Amir

... well usually users want able to do other things while encoding..
automkv priority isn't important since the work is done by encoder...

@Ajax_Undone

Excellent installer!

i hope soon to publish the definitive 0.95, feel free to update the installer to new build, i will link your installer in first post!

thanks

Below is the full log but the thing i find funny is this

This is tellin gme that it is trying to encode the picture file into ac3, of course it is not going to work because it is demuxed and there is no sound there.
I haven't had anything to do with m2ts files, and my only exposure to *.ts files are from HDTV captures which contain video and audio. I demux the *.ts files with ProjectX and end up with *.m2v and *.ac3 files that I feed into AutoMKV.

@darbid

Just looked quickly at TSMuxer and it appears to be a muxing program, rather than a DEmuxing program, so that's possibly the issue.

Does TSRemux demux from m2ts?

Did you ever try Process Lasso?? It seems OK for you needs.

Hi!
First let me say, good job!

Now I have a question. I'm using the 0.93a version and everything is fine but when I add subtitles (.ass) nothing happens. It just says added external subs. But then I cannot choose them from the list the only option is NONE (I still tried encoding though and as you guessed no subs ).

Can this be fixed somehow?

buzzqw: subtitles work with .mkv but what about .avi (XViD)? I get this error when trying to add subtitles (using the burn option):
