Move the Demux?!?!
I am a BIG FAN of RipBot264 ... absolutely great work.
I was wondering if there was any plan to move the initial demux to the actual processing stage. Right now, you choose an input, and a chapter, and then the computer proceeds to do 5 minutes of processing before presenting you with a screen which lets you choose a filename and options. The default options work for me just fine, which means that it is a 5 minute wait to enter a filename. When ripping multiple TV episodes, this can be hours just to set up the queue. Is there any way you would consider allowing a way to enter the filename and accept whatever default would have happened if it went through the 5 minutes, and leave that initial processing to the actual transcode? Thanks! |

@Red Fish Are you sure that you have enough space on C: partition? Is your movie correctly decrypted with latest version of AnyDVD HD? @bugmen0t I will think about it. I do not promise anything...

I have over 500 gb space on my C drive. The movie was decrypted with latest version of DVD fab. Is that an issue? As I mentioned others are working fine, just a few recent new ones. Perhaps different audio streams? Still kinda new to all this. Thanks

Atak_Snajpera:
When I encoded the video (framesize of source video=704x480) always remains at 4:3, then I put in the command line --sar 1:1 to avoid this. It should be the default value 1:1. With other programs as TX264 and Bencos the result is fine. Another thing: once more ask please check the duration of the audio when muxed with video, can be cut and only with YAMB to separate and reassemble to correct the problem. Thank you. Hello,
I have a problem with Ripbot. I cannot encode anything, when I load a file and press encode it encodes the video instandly without an output. I downloaded the program several times reinstalled all codecs and required programs, everything on default but the same problem every time. I tried several different video files. I'm using windows 8 X64. Thanks, Last edited by godfavor; 19th January 2013 at 12:16. |

ripbot always checks source aspect ratio . in your case madiainfo detected your file as 4/3 . in order to have correct aspect ratio during playback ripbot calculates correct sar value . in your case --sar 0.909:1000.
when you use 1:1 your video file will have incorrect proportions 1.46:1 . that kind of aspect ratio does not exist in movie industry.

move ripbot folder to location without national characters in path. for example c:/program files(x86)/ripbot264

With that, I'll be able to determine if the issue is with the stream or your processing. What VC-1 decoder are you using? |
