This might be a similar problem compared to the "program mapping changes" problem. Does the problem also occur at the very end of the remuxing process for you (when you almost think it's done and successful)? And does the playlist 1) also contain multiple m2ts parts of which the last one is very small? In that case please upload that last m2ts file for me and another 20MB from any of the other m2ts parts of the playlist 1). Then I can probably fix it. Thanks!

Edit: Something about that vob file is strange, though. eac3to cannot demux video/audio tracks for whatever reason. Will look into that. But the subtitle track seems to be really empty. E.g. EvoDemux doesn't even list it.
Disregard that. When joining the VOB, I forgot to include the very 1st VOB that was only 8 KB. Didn't think it'd make a difference; guess I was wrong.

Check "mkvmerge --version". It reports 19th of August. That's the cause of the problem.

I can't reproduce this problem. Can I see the full log including the exact command line, please?

You may need to add the ArcSoft folder to the environment path. Search this thread for "environment" to find more details.

tried encoding/extracting pcm now and it works.. seems the error only happens when using '-check'

C:\Program Files\eac3to>eac3to test.m2ts -check
M2TS, 1 video track, 1 audio track, 0:56:16
1: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
2: RAW/PCM, English, 5.1 channels, 16 bits, 48khz, -41ms
[v01] Extracting video track number 1...
[a02] Extracting audio track number 2...
[a02] Reading RAW/PCM...
[a02] The sample sorter received a non-supported data format.
Aborted at file position 16384.

No go. Triple checked to make sure I had it right, and rebooted.

Well, then I don't know why it doesn't work. Does it work in GraphEdit? Have you installed the latest ArcSoft update(s)?

It would connect and play, but no audio out.

Re-install seems to have fixed it. Working now.

Thanks.

TrueHD tracks on HD DVD - Please can someone tell me if it's possible to remove the TrueHD audio from an HD DVD unconverted to enable me to mux it using tsMuxer with a 'fixed' VC1 evo file to make a Blu-Ray. I don't want the TrueHD converted to flac, as I'll be burning to a BD-R for playback via an HD amp.
Thanks.

what exactly was meant with that 2.57 fix that 16-bit truehd track were incorrectly decoded to 24-bit? there didnt seem to be any increase in filesize for the FLAC track at least, the files had the same sizes as typical 16-bit flac tracks for me. do I still have to redo all those thruehd -> flac tracks done with 2.57?

tsMuxeR doesn't properly support TrueHD muxing, as far as I've heard.

The FLAC files are alright, they are just marked as 24bit and decode to 24bit, with the lower 8bit all zeroed out. Not a problem at all. The files are not bigger than 16bit FLAC files nor do they sound different. So you don't really have to redo them. It's just not "nice" that they are flagged as 24bit, although only 16bit are filled with data. But it's just a cosmetic issue.
