VobEdit can be used to demultiplex the files, also to split the streams by cell if needed.
IfoEdit can give you the chapter and language information. SubRip can turn the demultiplexed subtitles into text format via OCR. You will have to shuffle around files and do some manual interaction though. |

Build 577+:
2 options in Settings: [x] Prompt to import playlists [x] Prompt to import Welcome Screens 1st option allows you to disable the pop-up question when importing folders. 2nd option allows you to choose whether to import a welcome screen from the imported folder. If you decide to keep the original welcome screen - multiAVCHD will not generate one, but will use the imported instead. Dean |

thanks for the answer, I can try this in the evening, but as I know this programs they also use for chapters celltimes.txt which is not supportet by multiAVCHD. My problem is not to bring one DVD in AVCHD-Format, I have to convert a lot of DVDs, so Iīm looking for a most comfortable method. Maybe I have to write a script or small program to bring celltimes.txt in the correct format. |

If you send me a sample of how celltimes look - i can make multiAVCHD support the format.
Are celltimes in frames format? 1000 (40th second in 25fps video for chapter 1?) 2000 3000 4000 etc... Also, do you (or anyone else) know if celltimes use 30fps for (29.970) and 24 for (23.976)? Last edited by deank; 13th May 2009 at 10:01. |

Okay... it is added.
multiAVCHD will recognize celltime format in external chapter files (i.e. movie-video.mpg + movie-video.txt). Dean p.s. I asked about the fps because when you have RFF flags in mpeg video for pull-down, etc... celltime->time calculation is different. Just try with your video files and let me know how it worked. |

DVD (IFO) to AVCHD/Blu-ray
Because these weeks multiAVCHD it's getting better and better I decided to add one-click DVD import functionality.
You can see in the log that it took about 7 minutes to convert my Savage Garden DVD to AVCHD (only the main concert without the extras) Of course you can select ALL IFO files from your VIDEO_TS folder (without VIDEO_TS.IFO of course) and you'll get almost a full copy of your DVD with the extras - I just tried it and it worked. multiAVCHD uses IfoUpdate.exe (by jdobbs) to extract chapters and mplayer to extract audio and video from the selected IFO playlist. Now my XMB menu shows 12 chapters pointing to the first 12 songs. At this time it supports AC3 audio (first track only) and no subtitles. But I'll find a way to extract all audio tracks and probably subtitles. You'll need either full download or download ifoupdate.exe and save it in your tools folder. Code:
[15:36:25] Log started for multiAVCHD v2.6 (build 578) [15:36:25] Current output mode will include [15:36:25] maximum of 252 titles. [15:36:25] Processing 1 input file/folder. I can't see your attached error and I don't understand your second post. Is it working or not?
I'm fixing some issues and adding support for DVD VIDEO_TS folder (with multiple titles). Dean |

The error you're getting is about SRT subtitles and not related to chapters at all. Check if you have ssa/srt subtitles in the same folder. I fixed it but it will be available in the next update.
Test with AVCHD/Blu-ray player, not with file-playback programs. |
