Extracted Audio File In DVD2SVCD

When I use DVD2SVCD to convert a DVD, I'm left with a bunch of audio
and video files in the movie directory.

Which audio file do I need if I need to multiplex the audio and video portion back manually?

The reason I'm asking is that I usually downsample from 48khz->44khz
but I want to keep the extracted 48khz audio file so that when I convert it to a DVD, I don't need to re-sample.

Is the the Encoded_audio_stream_1.mp2 or Enocded_audio_stream_1.ac3?

Or is it some other audio file I need?

Thanks for the help.

Normally that is the mp2 file, but the downsampling has already been done. So in this case you would keep the ac3 file, but you would also need to convert it in the future to an mp2 file. There is no file that is first converted to mp2 48 and then converted to 44. It is done at the same time.
