Official German Doom9 Site:

http://german.doom9.net and http://www.doom9.de/

Also bitte sorgfältig übersetzen!

~ Organisation ~

~ Aktuell in Arbeit ~

Ogg media stream guide

Hi!
I am in charge of the Spanish project.
We are following your lead in this translating thing and we would apreciate if you sometimes write something in English so we can take some of your ideas to improve our project.
In our thread we are discussing lots of things in English to allow you to read if you want.
Thanks.

Hi epere4,

I'll respect your wish and help you with some English.

You've already noticed my Postings in your Spanish Thread, I guess. ;-)

Luckily, I understand some Spanish, so I'm not completely lost, even on your website.

Yes Horester, I´ve seen your post.
I now have a question: How do you translate "Doom9 in German" to German.
I am doing the flag thing (you can see ir right now in the Spanish site) and I wish that when users point the mouse in the German flag that message apears in the German language.

Hi,

well, that's not really necessary because visitors see their mouse pointer becoming a hand (as when moving over an ordinary link on the WWW).

But anyway:

"Doom9 in German" means "Doom9 auf Deutsch" in German.

Hmmm, I doubt many German readers will visit the Spanish site though...

But it's nice as a "design study" anyway.

Horestes:
Thanks. I don´t think German readers will access to the Spanish site, but you never know. And yes, it looks better designed (I know users see the little hand).
Anyway, it is now implemented and can be seen in the Spanish page.

Doom9.de.vu ist nicht down

Hi,

cannot connect -> admin notified!

http://home.no.net/mrsub/doom9/

hi folks,
hi horestes,

Quote:

great idea but where do you get the mods?... you can steel them from here (as for example Ookami was one of the great mods @ Ultimate) but I think they really have enough to do at this site.

But U're very right. We'll need a well designed and open minded german board as ultimate was in early stages. I know that here are a lot of (senior) members who were formerly known as mods @ ultimate... like apu' , ookami (as i mentioned above), bobotns, etc.

Horestes, if you would like to integrate a (german) forum @ your side then I woud suggest to make a poll for it.

Ask Doom9 to integrate this poll at his news-page or at least here

btw, opening "our new side " , the following error message occures:

cannot connect -> admin notified

cheers Sill

~ Forum ~

Psydon (also member of the doom9 forums) hosted a German Translator Forum for a while, but took it down very quickly as only 2 or 3 people posted there...

Everything needs advertising, that's for sure now ;-)

I've contacted him today and persuaded him to give it another try - let's see what he will do :-)

He agreed in re-opening it, so it's only a matter of time.
