Looking for a MPEG4 Editor cutter

I have some recording from BBCHD in MPEG4.
What is the best editor to cut the commercials and editing the recording?

Tried Avidemux?

I tried avidemux but not working.
The records are in ts from a dreambox.I can watch them with VLC.

Try YAMB cut tool. Is not frame-accurate but sometimes can help
