Sorry I haven't posted updates but I have been busy. THanks for the new version and will test it as soon as I can.
One thing I did notice. a couple of times I had had to cancel extracting due to picking the wrong options. When I do that, it exits the program. I then have to load the disc back in. Would it be possible for it not to exit? |

Since the idea of this window is to be a MeGUI tool. The extraction process will be done via a job in the MeGUI queue. Thus, having all the benefits of the queue, such as: setting priority, aborting, etc.
For the executable version, I'll think about adding a button for canceling the extract. |

JFYI: The latest eac3to version reports DTS-HD and TrueHD\AC3 tracks differently compared to older versions.
Old version: Code:
M2TS, 1 video track, 3 audio tracks, 1:59:20 1: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9) 2: TrueHD/AC3, English, 5.1 channels, 48khz 3: DTS Hi-Res, English, 7.1 channels, 24 bits, 2864kbit/s, 48khz 4: AC3, Czech, 5.1 channels, 640kbit/s, 48khz, dialnorm: -28dB Code:
M2TS, 1 video track, 3 audio tracks, 1:59:20 1: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9) 2: TrueHD/AC3, English, 5.1 channels, 48khz (embedded: AC3, 5.1 channels, 640kbps, 48khz) 3: DTS Hi-Res, English, 7.1 channels, 24 bits, 2864kbps, 48khz (core: DTS, 5.1 channels, 24 bits, 1536kbps, 48khz) 4: AC3, Czech, 5.1 channels, 640kbit/s, 48khz, dialnorm: -28dB |

If I select DTS for a DTS HD MA track, I get the full DTS HD audio. I thought if I select DTS rather than DTSHD then I would get the core track but I didn't. |

To extract the core DTS from a DTS-HD stream you need to use the -core option.
To get the AC3 from TruHD/AC3 (embedded AC3) or TrueHD (without embedded AC3) steams just extract as AC3. With the TrueHD/AC3 stream it will just extract the core AC3, with the TrueHD stream it will transcode to AC3. At least this is how I believe it works... I haven't had any problems with this program for a while now. I made use of it when I realised I didn't have enough disc space. I used it to select just the Video track and the DTS-HD MA audio from a Blu ray while using AnyDVD. I saved having to copy over 15GB of data I didn't want. It took a little longer than I was expecting but it did it ok.

I have extracted a truehd+ac3 from Blade Runner HD DVD. The file name has audio delay -1ms. I want to create a Blu Ray in tsmuxer. When I load the audio track in, there is a box for audio delay. Do I put -1ms in it, or is the audio already synced with the video and keep it at 0?
