Does anyone want to convert an IDX subtitle to SRT?
Hello everyone, happy new year.
I have tried to rip DVD subtitles with SubRip, but Subrip doesn't recognise one letter at all, it keeps coming up with bad best guesses. I normally use Character Matrix Files from the Internet because my screenreader - I'm blind - cannot tell me which letter SubRip doesn't recognise. Is there anyone who could try and convert the subtiltes to SRT for me? I can e-mail you the idx and sub file. Kind regards Vincent |

I have no idea but here is a link to megaupload and mediafire with it.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules. http://www.mediafire.com/?5bbchodijlcr3iy http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TN7MFLKT |

Subrip is outdated. Best OCR recognition so far is with Tappen's Subtitle Extractor.

For me, the best one is Subtitle Edit http://www.nikse.dk/ which is still developed and it uses tesseract OCR engine.
I created the above .srt with it. |
