size reduction

Greetings!
I am stuck with my video processing!Need help!I have a Kodak playsport zx3 waterproof camcorder what makes .MOV files.there are 3 setting in camcorder 702/30 fps ,720/60 fps 1080/30 fps.I want to reduce the size of the videos and merge them .I use ripbot for making MKV files when i used 720/30 fps settings ,and now the problem .When i use 720 /60 settings and load it to ripbot it shows 25fps and the final mkv files shorter and the video slow.If i set the frame settings to 60 all synced but the video still short.Please help me out .The main requirement for me to merge the videos and reduce the size of the files .
