Feature Request: audio encoding of .mp2 files

Hi WEF,

I do a lot of encoding of material from digital television, which has mostly MPEG sound. Lame can encode such files (demuxed with DVD2AVI) directly - I do it now with razorlame. It would be very nice, if GKnot would realize an .mp2 extension and feed such a file directly to lame.

GKnot is the best!!

Hi again, I just found a solution:

I change the file extension of the mp2-file to .wav and append the --mp2input option to lame. GKnot then assumes a wav file and skips the azid step.

Greetings
