Blended Fields

I know there is no general method to get rid of them, but what about this case:
1) I want to resize to half resolution (VCD)
2) it's telecined cartoon material
3) There is always a field pattern like:
A A+B B B C D D+E E E E+F ...

I mean there is always a non-blended field but not in a fixed short pattern.
So I can't use Decimate() because it would of course delete one of the two EQUAL fields, although there is a non-blended field.
(in my example decimate would delete B, E instead of A+B, D+E, E+F).

Now my question:
Is there a method to delete those fields which are a blend of the previous and the next?
