Suitable way to find out frame slices dependency on other slices

Hello Experts,
During video transmission most of the video slices get lost. Some belongs to I and some belongs to P and B frames. After loosing slices from I frames the video quality degraded significantly. My question is that , is there a way to find out how many other slices were dependent on that lost slice? For instance if slice of I frames lost during video transmission so how many coming slices were dependent on that particular lost slices.
