It works reasonably well on my intel laptop. But for some of the more resource heavy videos I need to switch to single display mode on the TV to prevent framedrops.

Thanks for the help anyway, it's a bit annoying changing it every time but not the end of the world. |

Are there any plans to merge changes from xy-vsfilter project? The performance gains are significant.

The ISR should keep working as long as the functionality of the interfaces in \src\SubPic\*.* remains the same. Can you poke xy about that? Porting any changes from MPC-HC in that folder to xy-vsfilter should simplify a future merge.
The only other important change missing in xy-vsfilter is x64 support. Most of the remaining changes in MPC-HC's VSFilter are cosmetic. Like astyle code formatting. A bunch of compiler warning fixes. All stuff that could be redone if necessary after a merge/replace. There might be a couple of bug fixes that haven't been ported to xy-vsfilter yet. But making a list of those shouldn't be much of a problem when going through the SVN history. I could do that if needed.

subtitles would be better rendered to a second pin, so DXVA can work. I prototyped a sub filter which works like this. Most of the colour space conversion code and other crazy optimisations can be ignored. You don't even need to update the subs every frame, only when the sub pic changes. Much more efficient.

DXVA works just fine with the ISR. Even allows full RGBA subtitles, no limiting yourself to AI44 or requiring a custom mixer for better format support on the substream pins.

I do understand that there might be a new thread for MPC-BE. But for the time being I will ask my question here because I don't think it's good for me to open the new thread when I'm not an active dev.
So, dear Aleksoid1978, I've been advertising your website among the French community for years. Now I don't know what to advertise anymore. Chronologically we have: * MPC-BE (Black Edition) is a fork from MPC-HC (Home Cinema) originally based on a GUI mod from september 2010 from bobdynlan. * latest build on xvidvideo.ru is rev 4360 from 2012-04-13 * latest build on xhmikosr.1f0.de is rev 4537 from 2012-04-28 * Aleksoid1978, you made a release on rapidshare based on rev 79 from the fork on 2012-04-28 Question: Alexins, will you keep all releases up-to-date on xvidvideo.ru for both editions (MPC-HC and MPC-BE)?

xhmikosr's link is the official nightly builds for MPC-HC. Stable builds are placed on the mpc-hc sourceforge page.
