If this thread is still alive, can you add a warning popup when extracting PCM to WAV that is over 4G, and advice the user to use W64 instead of WAV? Today I spent 5 minutes extracting a 2 hour pcm to wav, just to find out that only the first 14 minutes could be play. And I had to dig through the documentation to find out why.

It also happens nothing when loading playlists. The characteristics of the streams seem to be known to it, though

Additionally the duration seems to be doubled (51min for a 25min feature).
If I load however the M2TS file directly, it is able to link it with the MPLS file, to display correctly the duration and to list the streams. After of course several dozen messages like

The window still cannot be resized, although a resize corner exists .

And the last issue, is that the existing subtitles are around 1/4th of what tsMuxeRGUI does (eg some 4k instead of 14k). Both variants load perfectly in BDsup2sub, but it seems that the smaller subtitles are also small in size. It may be a tsMuxeR issue, though.

PS: a detailed guide would be welcomed.

Just discovered this thread, this GUI is great!
This thread doesn't seem very active anymore but I might as give it a shot in case anyone sees this

I wanted to ask a question about extracting "TrueHD/AC3" files..
When extracting a TrueHD/AC3 file, and you're extracting it as a FLAC file, does the program convert the lossless 'TrueHD' part to FLAC, or the AC3 part?

Like this:

A suggestion for improvement

Hello there,
you can spend that when extracting a track will not drive your dream the track name only gets so as "1_2_audio.ac3" but which is additionally set in front of the file name? I find better "Name the file 1_2_audio.ac3"
The background is, if multiple files in succession Produced one must currently always the Extracted file renaming before you can move on to the next.
Best regards

Not all valid playlists show

I've noticed on some blu-rays Extractor doesn't show all the valid playlists. For instance Spaceballs main valid playlist is 00013.mpls but only 00133.mpls shows. I've tried going in by file and choosing 00013.mpls manually but it doesn't retrieve the streams. So far the extracts I've done work but is there a hidden problem? Can anyone explain why this happens? Does it matter?

So I suppose I have two *.mkv files.
Video1.mkv and Video2.mkv. Now I load Video1.mkv into HdBrStreamExtractor and extract the soundtrack. A file 1_2_audio.ac3 is created.
Then I load the file Video2.mkv and extract synonymous with her the soundtrack.
A file 1_2_audio.ac3 is also created and the audio track of the first file Video1.mkv is overwritten.
So I need to rename the file 1_2_audio.ac3 after extracting the video1.mkv before I continue with the next file.
If HdBrStreamExtractor rename the files to the schema "FileName_1_2_audio.ac3" (Video1_1_2_audio.ac3), that can not happen.

Because the last release of HdBrStreamExtractor is from Apr 30, 2010

You can use MeGUI -> Tools -> HD Streams Extractor
same initial code than HdBrStreamExtractor but actualized.

Or also you can use other eac3to GUI: UsEac3to

I had the hope, someone is still working on it.
The program is otherwise good, uncomplicated and small.

Very good. This GUI stopped working with Windows 10 CU, at least for me. Thanks for the hint.

Just for the record, there's been an update since then. About 12 posts up.
I also asked Baldrick to add it to the VideoHelp software section, so it wouldn't vanish.
https://www.videohelp.com/software/H...ream-Extractor

Mind you I don't know how well it works or if it's bug free etc as I normally use the version built into MeGUI myself.
