Finally I found the problem with audio
enc_aacPlus ALWAYS saves aac stream in MPEG2 AAC format instead of MPEG4 AAC even if I don't use --mpeg2aac switch! Luckily it can be changed during muxing by adding -mpeg4 switch after audio stream.

You cannot export because I didn't mux with -ipod switch.

New version will be available tomorrow when I come back from work.

For those of you who don't want the padding (black bars @ top and bottom) select the resolution you want, than select custom. this will get you the res u want without the black bars.

Could this not be auto-detected by ripbot264?

Thanks for the great program! This makes it a lot easier to convert videos for my iPod touch. I am just having one small problem.

The program is unable to open x264 mkv files. I get the error "The video could not be decoded."

I originally go this error for any video but then I re-installed Avisynth and avi files worked, but not mkv. At first I thought it couldn't handle a 4GB file, but it gives me the same error for a 90MB file.

I just installed Haali Media Splitter today (always used VLC so I never needed it) so it should be the latest version. FFDShow is revision 1324.

Any ideas as to what my problem is? Thanks a lot.

Uninstall FFDShow and then download new version http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=439938

Also try to install older version of Haali Media Splitter. See first post.

if you still get this error try to find getinfo.avs and open it in mpc. MPC should show you some error message.

Thanks a lot! The new ffdshow did the trick. I'm not sure if it as the new one or the fact that I unchecked the "limit applications" option in the installer.

Do you think I will have any problems since I'm not using the "stable" version of ffdshow anymore?

Thanks again!

I suggest to check both options (Don't use FFDshow and Use only in ...)

There is nothing to worry about. Everybody is using latest version.
