No, you can't reorganize categories and like I wrote before I like it the way it is.
-> doubt that I will change Hybrid any time soon
+ I prefer Tab-widgets instead of menus, which I why I only use them inside the Config-tab.
So if you really don't like the layout, I can only recommend to use another GUI.

I don't like the layout but i don't know any other gui with all the functionalities i need, Hybrid is the best gui i ever seen ! that's why i try to help.

Blue group is how a nfo is organised. I think it's more user friendly.
it's just an example but i would reorganise a lot of elements in Hybrid if it is possible. I can use any programming languages if needed.

What I would really like in design/usability of Hybrid is an ability to text-edit the Current output file!
Because for now you can either Generate it or manually click on button to the right and write full name. While in my dreams I can check and then uncheck box "Generate" for auto filling up full video name and then just simply add text like 1, 2, x264, x265 etc when I want to encode one video couples times with different settings.
Because for now I have to use something like 0001, 0002, asdjf1 for any 2nd encode or browse for first encoded file in small explorer window, click it and then add text at the end.

P.S. Could you tell me again how to trim in Hybrid? I remember that you disabled multiple trimcuts and left just 1 but I can't find where it is.

There never was an option which allowed multiple cuts, there only is and was the normal 'Cut Support'.
Cutting is still 'experimental', since it:
a. can't cope with vfr
b. doesn't cut subtitles
c. probably has some other downfalls.
To enable the 'Cut Support' as it is go to: Config->Internals->Cut Support (and remember to read the tool-tips).

About encoding one video multiple times:
- Don't really like the idea of either making the input or output line edit editable.
- I could probably add an option to add a timestamp to the current output as an additional 'Output filename Generation option', or something similar. (or add an option which adds the current 'video handling',....)
- Also you can already add texts like 1, 2, x264, x265 when 'Generate' is enabled, by changing the suffix in the 'Config->Output->Filename Generation->Output Filename Generation' options.

In the lower right corner. Once the site is not all elements are translated. It seems they have not yet gained access to Germany (the phone number).

Dear Selur, or anyone else. There is one strange behavior I can't seem to solve. I encoded source mov file using Hybrid into both x265 and x264 and both resulted files looked with different color range. I take source file and set Levels in ffdshow to 16-235 and see exactly what show encoded files.

Furthermore I went to Filtering, Postprocessing, checked autolevels>Full range and got crashed encoding error after sstarting job. What am I doing wrong? Do you need source file and encoded? Both encodings were with a preset settings and I almost didn't change anything else.
Also when I look at Avisynth preview it looks like on the encoded files. Is that artificial flag in the mov file? I just want it to be with less color lossy option, no matter what it is.

I found a BUG.
Lets say you go to Filtering>Avisynth>Line>Resize checkbox. Then you select Lancoz resize with default 4 tap. It is working fine. However if you change tap number to anything f.i. 3 then you will have error with Avisynth Preview because of Avisynth code: LanczosResize(taps=31280,720), where I asume coma (,) is missing between 3 and resolution.
Also if you select gauss Resize and change sharpness from default 30 then you will get the same error.
EDIT: Ha! I also found that if I add Toon filtering in Avisynth it will bring the exact color range as shows original. So I just added this as custom and that worked.

Can't really follow you, since a few avisynth lines basically say nothing on their own.

Sure. Lets do it one by one.
First bug I think I found about modifying default resize options like sharpness for gaussian filter and taps number for Lanczos and other.

That's strange since atm. Hybrid should always output tv-scale content yuv content is used.

I noticed that with full PC range video is bigger size with same CRF settings.
I also found that on some computers both video files look the same but that should be due to their decoder settings for sure.
Ideally I would prefer to keep full PC range even if it will be narrowed to TV while playing on some computers.

Cool, so bug exists. But are you on autolevels crash or encoded color range?
