any recommend avs filters/scripts for realtime dvd playback ?

as I want to enhanced the picture quality and output to a projector.

depends on the source but with a bigger display area a little bit of smoothness might help.

try :

removegrain(mode=2)

OR

removegrain(mode=2)
STmedianfilter(3,3,1,1)

OR

for a very clean source

only removegrain(mode=1) is sufficient.

What exactly is wrong with the picture that it needs to be "enhanced"?

Randomly suggesting denoisers or sharpeners without knowing what's wrong is kind of difficult.
