Recording from Samsung 3d LED TV
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to put this question. In case, i hope for some moderator's kindness to put it in the right place.
Anyway, I bought the Samsung 3D LED TV, which has the ability to record programs to hard disk via USB. But this one is not accessible from the PC (I think because the file system is not recognized from it.) So, is there a way to let the PC read the HD that i bought to record programs on it ? And can the files on it be readable by some MKV or AVI creation program ? Thanks for your reply, and best wishes ! |

From UK consumer site Which.co.uk I notice in the write up for the C7000 sets, the recordings are encrypted in such a way as to only allow playback on the actual set they were recorded on. It sounds as though it will not even allow compatibility with other identical Samsung sets.
As such, unless someone manages to break the encryption system, there will be nothing you can do to process this content. |
