Could please someone help me decode the key customizations I've made a long ago that are very important for me. The first number is obvious, but what about the others? In the recent builds, and also not so long ago, MPC-HC kept re-sorting the entries and adding (modifying?) some, so this might not be the 'real' ones that I've made.

I'll read the source if necessary (although I don't have a slightest clue about programming) just to get them back. That's how important they are to me.

Code:
[Commands2]
CommandMod0=890 3 0 "" 5 0 13
CommandMod1=891 b be "" 5 0 0
CommandMod2=892 b bc "" 5 0 0
CommandMod3=900 3 be "" 5 0 0
CommandMod4=899 3 bc "" 5 0 0
CommandMod5=904 b 27 "" 5 0 0
CommandMod6=903 b 25 "" 5 0 0

Does UVD 2.2 support VC1 hardware acceleration? Cause I have a video file encoded with :
ID : 2
Format : VC-1
Format profile : MP@HL
Codec ID : WMV3
Codec ID/Info : Windows Media Video 9
Codec ID/Hint : WMV3
Description of the codec : Windows Media Video 9 - Professional
Duration : 1h 25mn
Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 4 000 Kbps
Width : 1 280 pixels
Height : 720 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 16:9
Frame rate : 29.970 fps
Bit depth : 8 bits
Scan type : Progressive
Compression mode : Lossy
Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.145
Stream size : 2.40 GiB (95%)

and MPC didnt show any DXVA in use at all. Catalyst 11.6. Any confirmation on what went wrong?

Do you need DXVA to play the file fluently ?

And on the question if UVD2.2 would support VC-1 in DXVA: click

Well, I am using Pentium 4, so DXVA is very important. Main question is, why mpc can't use dxva with the specified VC-1 format above? It works fine with H.264 though.

^If it's WMV3, then it's not supported.

MPC-HC's DXVA decoder just can't accelerate WMV3. That's all.

Did you check the mapping for "Framestep" and "Framestep back"? The default keys have recently changed.

I can fix it (I'll turn back IDs).

fixed in r3262.

Thanks. i thought that was all about jumping. the new framestep was also ctrl+right. removed it and fixed the problem.

i think it will be very helpfull if you make mapping list sortable by name, key etc. And the program should refuse and disable dublicate key mappings.

Good news. I have fixed the vertical padding functionality in VSFilter. Also, a patch has been committed that significantly improves performance of subtitles in VSFilter and MPC.

Does any of the other devs perhaps has some time to update the settings page of VSFilter with this suggestion:
http://mpc-hc.svn.sourceforge.net/vi...9&pathrev=3260

Thank you, but I wanted an explanation on the meaning of the entries so I can figure out what was changed and why (I forgot why I made some of the entries, some were changed by MPC-HC itself maybe, and there might be errors).

Like, what does be, bc mean; what are the codes for modifier keys and where... I'll by trial and error if I have to, but I was hoping for an explanation.

@GrofLuigi
There was an error. It is fixed in v1.5.2.3262.
I do not recommend using versions 3247...3261.

The settings aren't saved correctly.
The buttons to increase/decrease buffer size should be inverted. Top one should increase instead of decrease.
