yes you would have to reencode the video to 1280x720p with addborders avisynth command using x264 to get the video to have borders on top and bottom so the subtitles show correctly.

dream mode on

This could be awesome that a dlna compatible server can stream a mkv translated on the fly by tsmuxer to the ps3.

dream mode off

DTS transcoding support

I was just wondering what the chance of incorporating DTS transoding to AC3 into tsMuxeR? Also, I was wondering how other Mac users were transcoding DTS to AC3 currently. I am using Crossover on my mac to run tsMuxeR and it works great. But I have a lot of MKV's with DTS.

Just a note for Mac users, I had a lot of trouble with Medialink. A lot of my H263 w/AC3 m2ts files were reporting a total runtime of approx 15 minutes, when they were a couple hours long. I could fast forward past the 15 minute mark, all they way to the end of the movie, but when I hit play, it would return to the 15 min mark and sit on pause. Using Twonkymedia, All of these problems movies play fine. Waste of $20...

Chances of an audio encoders/decoders being incorporated into a container muxer? Not high, I'd imagine.

Ya, I get it. It would be unheard of a piece of software doing more than one thing. Yikes! I guess I should look to another forum if I ever want to watch an MKV w/DTS on my PS3.

@tr5755 your reply is not very polite. if you want to tool that does that.. go with mkv2vob.

I would prefer a kit of tools to do the job that I single one.

I do not have that issue are you using the same source? some sources ff/rw just doesnt work without reencoding with x264.

of course the same source.

I never had problem with 720p before the 1.40a, but i'm trying to mux a 1080p and VBR does up to 45mbits some time. It's to high to be able to stream it with tversity, so I copy the .m2ts into the PS3 hard drive with a USB key.

I try to choose a lower VBR in tsremux 1.4.0a but it didn't help.

I'm sure that I won't get that with every movies because lot of person would have already complain about that.

I read of others posts that I'm not alone, but still not enough people.

Well it was trial and error, i tried using mediainfo to look at the demuxed video and it said 1000ms then i looked at the demuxed DTS track and it didnt say anything but the total time , strange that mediainfo did not even say the total time for the demuxed video only for the audio. Anyway, i put in 1000ms and it didnt work but saw a change so i put in 1800ms got better then 2000ms perfect!

Wish all did not have to have a delay, it sucks sometimes figuring this stuff out.

no. I could try tonight. but if it works, that won't change the problem with tsmuxer. I have a a work around 1.3.1 seem to work for me with my movie.

I have yet another problem with Underworld Extended Cut Blu-ray, I got the audio delay perfect at 2000ms and my about 1 gb test files work great but now when I do the whole movie file with the 2000ms delay and try to play the file it doesnt want to play so i tried it again and still does not work so i tried other versions of tsMuxeR and none of them do it. What might be the problem here? All my test files worked and the untouched m2ts file.

and you reencoded this? some sources have to be encoded correctly, if not use x264 to reencode source to standard ps3 (BD) specs by using xolos bluray profiles in megui and try it then. only time i notice ff/rw issues is when it was burned to a AVCHD and no rencode (ie just remux).

yes I reencode it for the PS3. with all the flags. It's not what I did that cause the problem.

I did a new test

took the .m2ts encoded by tsmuxer 1.4.0a with use it in tsremuxer 2 output bluray..

the movie is sync and ff work.

until a fix I recommend to mus it back in tsremuxer. It add one more step, but it will play perfectly on the PS3. or stick with 1.3.1 if it works for you
