www.avisynth.org points me to the temporary page you had set up.

Note: the www. is automagically removed from the url when the page opens (ping avisynth.org gives me: 208.97.178.252).

Note2: I'm in France, dunno what it gives elsewhere

I brought back the main avisynth.org wiki and http://avisynth.org/mediawiki. Note: they are still using the old copy of the database, so I've made them read-only.

Any idea when the most recent copy of the database is used?

Am I missing something? Everyone here is so tranquil, you'd think nothing really happenned. But the website of our beloved tool has been down/severed for the last 3.5 months, and I couldn't even understand if it will be back.
I guess most of us rarely go to avisynth.org anymore, but I'm thinking about new users and expanding our user base. Besides, it's the official site, damnit.
Specifically, I was looking for the YV12 FAQ... but the mediawiki seems to be all gone.

Is doom9 properly backed up?!

It's not too bad from here, the pages show in about 2 to 3 seconds.
It's better than nothing in any case

Now!

For the main site, anyway. I received data from the company today for all sites, but the data for MediaWiki does not appear to be complete. I'm still investigation.

Could anyone tell me how to make pictures visible?

I uploaded some pics (using the upload button on the left) and tried
Code:
but it doesn't show any picture. (I've read somewhere that for external pics Richard needs to set some flag, but internal pics should work the way i tried.)

IIRC there was an ongoing project about gathering all the various scripts before the server crashed. Was it abandoned or are you simply still waiting for the previous hosting company to recover the missing data? (just curious)

edit: Found it on archive.org
