How to reencode AC3 and ...

How to reencode AC3 and still retain the original sound level?

Use SoftEncode, Doom9 still has the old guide (SurCode) up if you need help.

Thanks, but it does not work.

I am decoding the AC3 to a 6 channel wav and apllying fade in and fade out to each of the wavs. Then, I encode again. But I don't get the same sound level.

I believe it is just a matter of normalizing each wav to the right level. But I just don't know what this level is!

Anybody?
