Concerning the audio delay issue, I noticed improvement in lots of sources that were troublesome before (specially in Higurashi), but I still notice it in Major 34 and 37 for example... I haven't had time to test with lots of sources though

and just a real big thing again. we need a bitrate calculator aswell. (just saw it when I compared 5.0.0a1 with 4.2.0)

hope you can add this feature aswell in RealAnime 5.0.0.a2

EDIT:

A Screenshot of how I mean it to add

no problem. do you know what is the oversize for MP4?

later on, I could use MB instead of KBPS to have constant filesize.

but I need to know MP4 oversize, source length, bitrates.

the only thing missing is MP4 info.

[edit]

the right term is "overhead"

Oh, right, it's still there. Yay XD
Nice.
There was something, though...
If you tick 'Output in source folder' and the original file is MP4, the original file will be overwritten. That's bad.

Everything with the same filename is overwritten. I could rename the old one though.

I really looking on to the alpha 2

here is the proof of that big deals always begins with small ideas;
Sirber just wanted to encode his Naruto eps to get them smaller and coded RealAnime and now he is the inventor of one of the best x264 gui's on the web ;-)

the best would be when you would let us the opinion to chose between filesize and bitrate you just need some overhead infos the mathematics you should easily solve - when not just ask me as I'm a maths prof ;-)

I'm not saying it shouldn't overwrite it, but I *am* saying that it is something to be considered. It's always a bad practice to overwrite a source.

instead of the label bitrate, I could put a button that switch "bitrate" and "filesize" when you press it. So the UI don't change and you can do what you want.

RA's main goal is not to encode naruto these days... to much crap fillers

i've just made a fix for the list, we will need to test it more to make sure that the errors dont come back related to the file management. For now the test that i've done work nicely i'll keep you informed about this.

Currently looking for fixing the output in same folder (rename the source with another name before the muxing ... in case that it's the same filename)

i was thinking with <name>.source.<ext> so if the user want to play it ... it wont need to rename it another time (i'm lazy and dont want to rename it all the time :P)
