Subsequent exchange of title picture
I would like to give my friend an SVCD as a birthday present.
Therefore I want to exchange the title picture of already encoded and finished CDs (SVCD with my standard title picture) creating a new set of CDs with a new title picture. Is there an easy way to do that, leaving all other settings (as chapters and languages) untouched? Best regards, t4a |

Ultimate, I am aware of the fact that CDs cannot be erased. In order to avoid the impression it can be done in my world of insufficient knowledge I thought it would be safe to phrase: "... creating a new(!) set of CDs with a new title picture". ... apparantly in vain.

I just woke up, can't expect me to catch everything, can you?
In this case, you should be able to do it. Perhaps with some video editing software that supports direct MP2 editing, you may be able to. Maybe not as well, I've never attempted such a thing |

Use VCDImager's vcdxrip to rip the CD's content. VCDEasy has a nice GUI for just that - it gives you the XML script used for authoring the SVCD as well as all the mpeg streams and stills.
The title pic is an mpeg still - you should be able to use VCDEasy to generate a new mpeg still and replace your original still with it. |
