Hi guys...

My NTSC Shrek 2 disc has weird navigation... After the movie credits it jumps to one of the special features automatically rather than return to main menu... I am not that smart an IFO editor and wondered if anyone else has dealt with this yet...?

Currently after the credits it jumps to Title 81 which is a Shrek version of the American Idol show which requires interaction with the game even if you wanted to just use your next button to get back to the menu...

Are you asking to you want to jump to your main menu after the movie? or are you just mentioning that it jumps to the game? If the first question, post your PGC dump of your Title using PgcEdit.

Same ol stuff, different day...

You really should upgrade to 0.3.8, Your commands are still showing unwanted ascii in quotes in your post. I assume you are using 0.3.5 or earlier. Also the info dumps have changed alot since then so try another one again. It has yields more information.

BTW, what VTS is your main menu residing in? VTS 6?

I had conflicting bin folders in diffrent directories... caused 034 to open when trying to open 038... My bad...

Have you edited Post command #2 in your Title 10 to this yet?

I hope this works for you. It did for me. In Title 10's post command #1, change it to gprm(9) value to 255.

It seems gprm(9) is the deciding gprm on what Titles to jump to. I agree with you, jumping to the game after the movie is quite a nuisance.

I agree with 2COOL: changing post command in your main title PGC to Set gprm(9) =(mov) 255 is the way to go.

BTW, if you want to jump directly to the main menu upon DVD insert, bypassing the previews, then change the first pre command of VMGM , LU 1 (en) , 3 (dummy) - Chapters: n/a, Programs: 0, Cells: 0 to:
1 Set gprm(3) =(mov) 0

Note: this DVD is of unbeliveable complexity!

My Pre command 1 was already the above command.

Like I mentioned before, gprm(9)'s value is the deciding factor so with that said again, I changed my pre command 3. Note: I'm working on the R1 widescreen version.

You really should upgrade to 0.3.8, Your commands are still showing unwanted ascii in quotes in your post. I assume you are using 0.3.5 or earlier. Also the info dumps have changed alot since then so try another one again. It has yields more information. BTW, what VTS is your main menu residing in? Code: OLD: [71 00 00 09 00 27 00 00] 1 Set gprm(9) =(mov) 39 NEW: [71 00 00 09 00 FF 00 00] 1 Set gprm(9) =(mov) 255 It seems gprm(9) is the deciding gprm on what Titles to jump to.
