Deleted the .vaf, and didn't get that error anymore. However, about a third of the way through the encode, CCE gives an error and says encoding failed. If I click OK, it jumps almost to 80% and continues - and then a little later, you get another encoding failed message, and the progress meter jumps further.

I finally just gave up and installed 2.67 - everything seems to work great with this version. Not sure if I've got some whacked registry pieces or what. Seems like I just reloaded this damned machine.

Thanks for the help - glad to be using BEM2V finally!

Could not find ccefront.ini
even if ccefront is correctly set and being run for encoding?

pls note: ccefront is in c:\progs\dvdrip\ccefront (even the ini is there) while batchencodem2v is in c:\progs\dvdrip\batchencodem2v

any clue?
thanks

ccefront is now supported in batchccews. please use that instead... it ties into ccefront a different(better) way. i may change batchencode to do it the same way but intend to work mostly on batchccews, so likely not.
