Problems encoding .avi to .avi with Virtualdub
Hello,
I'm a noob in video compression, my problem is that when I tried to convert one avi to another using virtualdub, I got stuck. Everytime when I set output size (in this case, 170MB), I get a lot bigger file in the end (in this case about 500MB, which is pretty weird, since first pass is about 300MB).. I think it has something to do with audio compressing, because when i convert directly from vobs and mux audio after encoding, there are no problems like that.. Can somebody help me? (P.S.: don't worry, I'm not doing anything illegal, I just experiment iwth avisynth and filters a bit with my old Ghost in the Shell DVD backups I've done before.. if you want proof i can even send oyu the photo of the DVDs ) |
