Sporadic Aliasing and Bobbing

Hello, I have a source which has strange cyclical aliasing a few times per second, as well as horizontal lines bouncing up and down and blurring at a similar interval. Here are a couple samples:
https://www63.zippyshare.com/v/35bhowBo/file.html
https://www63.zippyshare.com/v/vypJyapG/file.html
It's very noticeable on sample 1 on the lines on the floor and in sample 2 on the bottom of the computer (horizontal lines bouncing up and down 2-3 times per second) and the computer screen (random aliasing). Are there any filters besides normal antialiasing ones that can minimize this?

Thanks!

All I get when I click are anime porn pictures. Not a fan of that site.

I tried a second time and it was even worse. Bad download site IMHO.

While I don't particularity care for zippyshare, I have not experienced any of that. I was able to download both files directly without any pop-ups, ads, porn...

Edit:
@real.finder
That's funny ... pretty sure "my zippy" it could also be used in that context

also funny thing, pronunciation the "Zippy" in Iraqi Arabic (I don't know much about other countries that speak Arabic) mean "My Di*k"

edit:
@Reel.Deel

it should "my zip" since the problem is the "zip" imagine the dirty jokes that happen every time we use a zip file or the worst "7-Zip" which mean "7 Di*k"

Sorry, I have uBlock origins, so I didn't realize there were any popup ads. Here is another download source

When I bob sample1 and look at each field I can see lines on the floor which are so thin that they only appear in one field, but not the other. I expect that would cause some sort of "bouncing up and down" artifact.

I also see that the diagonal lines on the floor have some sort of staircasing. There is also a fair amount of DCT compression noise.

Off the top of my head I don't remember how to fix this, but I'm pretty sure I've seen this before and there is a pretty decent fix for it. If no one comes up with something in the next few days, I'll spend a few minutes looking it up.

I'm not sure what went wrong with this source but it seems like the original telecined clip was badly deinterlaced, converted to 24fps and the telecined again. Anyways, this reminded me of another source I saw a while back, and sure enough I tried the script of the first sample and it really helps:

I used this script as posted by Didée here: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.p...90#post1571490

Edit:
If you end up using that script, you may want to delete the sbr() function from it and use asd's sbr plugin instead: https://github.com/Asd-g/AviSynth-sbr

Very nice reel.deel. Interesting reading Didee's script. I too thought it looked a little like dot crawl, although it obviously isn't that.

My only further suggestion is that the OP should probably turn up the settings for the noise reduction. The DCT noise is very distracting on animations.

I agree, this does seem to fix up the first sample really well, thanks to both of you! The second sample still has weird pulsating issues after processing, but it still looks much better even if that can't be helped. I'll also denoise, remove rainbow and dotcrawl, and dehalo it, which should help some. I'll have to figure out how to incorporate Didée's script with my deinterlacing process though.

Yes, there are some frames that still show signs of the lines jumping but it is much better than the original. Why are you deinterlacing? The video is telecined, and Didée's script takes care of that.

I should have said IVTC/deinterlace. Most of this source is 24 fps and gets a proper IVTC, but it has some scenes that are 60i fps that I wanted to deinterlace and keep at native framerate. My output is a constant framerate 60 fps, where 24 fps and 30 fps sections are duped to 60 fps. I just like to keep all the fields from the source, and the smooth 60 fps sections are nice.

As I was reading sonic41592's description of the problem, this is the exact show that came to my mind. Lots of animation is rife with this problem.
