searching free prog to DTS dvd

hy.

i do very good dvd audios(video_ts) with AC3 5.1 using EncWAWtoAC3 and GUI_DVDauthor.

GUI_DVDauthor can't load DTS, only AC3 and mp2 for audio only.

now i'm searching a free program to author DTS dvds(video_ts) audio only.

any hints, please?

It's not impossible, it's just that there aren't any free encoders.
There are several DTS encoders, such as SurCode DVD DTS Encoder, SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD™ for Compressor (Mac), DTS Pro Series Surround Encoder, hardware encoders and DTS HD Master Audio Suite, even as plugins for Pro Tools, but none of them are free.

If you already have the DTS, then it's easy, I think this is what you intend to do. If not, it's impossible, with free tools.

Reports are that ReJig, IfoEdit and TsRemux can mux DTS with [dummy] video to obtain a VIDEO_TS folder with DTS audio. But the DTS track (elementary stream) should be there, they cannot encode nor transcode DTS. You can also author the DVD in a normal way with your favourite prog, then replace the files with your files (created by IfoEdit, ReJig etc.). There is a tutorial on how to do this.
