@xkodi

Thanks for the pack. I notice that since Microsoft fixed the vertical flip bug from v7, when used in conjonction with VSFilter/DVobSub, the picture is upside down. I gave the info to Gabest, and I think he will be fixing it in the next VSFilter version.

One problem I have though, is since the merit is raised to bypass the DivX 5 filter, the DivXG400 is excluded from the graph. Would it be possible to patch DivXG400 the same way you did DivXAF. Actually a better way to do it would be to ask PRR - the author of DivXAF and DivXG400 - to modify both filters. He's a very nice chap.

I actually made an installer for this thing when I heard about it, but I lost the executable due to a virus (well, the executable isn't lost but after virus+patching the checksum doesn't match and thus the installer won't load). I'll see if I have a backup somewhere, since people still seem to be interested in this MAIA thing. (I can't make new installers right now because of a strange OS incompatibility)
Edit: hmm, the "OS incompatibility" vanished with the wind . Find the installer at http://mf.creations.nl/DivX311b.exe.
It's compressed to the max, and I find 290KB pretty reasonable .

@arman68

currently i use DivXG400 v2.83, it originally has merit 00900000, which is equal to DivX_c32.ax merit form MAIA pack and DivXG400.ax loads correctly after DivX_c32.ax, so there are no problems with DivXG400 (at least with v2.83).

Are you sure?
I am also using v2.83, and if I remember correctly the merit was set to 00600000. I had to change it manually to 00900001 (same as your modified codecs) to include it in the graph.

I also talked to PRR and he said he did not want to take part in the "merit race"

if you use hex editor and go to offset 2BA48 in DivXG400.ax(v 2.83) you will see: 00 00 90 00, which is merit 00900000, so I am sure. if you change that value to 01 00 90 00, you will get merit 00900001.(register filter after patch to get right merit)

The latest version of VSFilter 2.32 fixes the vertical flip

arman68, thank you for informing Gabest about the problem. I am glad to hear that the vertical flip problem with VSFilter/DVobSub is gone. Also thank you Gabest for your fast response.

Stupid question. I know that previously the combination of choice was sbc + 3.11a.

How does this new version work with sbc?

NM I RTFM and answered it for myself. It seems to work perfectly with nandub.
