PC connected to Samsung LED TV / Video Playback stutters

Hey People,

I don't know where else to ask this so I am posting here.
I recently bought a Samsung UE46C6000 LED LCD TV and hooked up my PC to it using a DVI cable and HDMI adapter.
Whenever I play some HD material with MPC HC and turn on Motion Plus (100 Hz) the image seriously stutters.
I have a Geforce 8800 GTX and on my primary monitor playback is just fine.
Also when I use my PS3 for Blu-ray playback video playback looks awesome with Motion Plus.

So I am wondering ... is it somehow related to the video signal from my graphics card? Is there something I can do?

Please let me know.

I'd guess that this connection might result in lesser quality performance regarding highest quality ("Motion Plus") output...

Seems like you'd need to adjust the framerate at the PC to 100 Hz.

This doesn't seem to be possible. 60 Hz is maximum and afaik 100 Hz is just "calculated" by the TV when Motion Plus is activated.

I'd assume its because the display driver is setting the output to a fixed frequency, guessing from 100hz it would be a 50hz output. You are probably trying to show 23.976 or 29.97 video at 25 fps which just doesn't work right! Try updating your drivers to the latest, and play with the output settings for that monitor.

YES!

Thanks for the hints, guys. :-)

I have tested some setting. 59 Hz was a little better.
But now I set "Use autochange" For Fullscreen Playback in MPC HC which apparently chooses the right frequency (~ 24 Hz).
Image is crystal clear and no more stuttering.
