Modern x64 Avs+ compatible/friendly build of DGMPGDec/DGDecode
Is it possible to get a modern up to date x64 build of DGMPGDec/DGDecode? There's a 10 year old x64 build, but it returns a green screen when used with the Avs+ version of MP_Pipeline.

I have that and have been using it for years with VC1 & H264. I thought the MPEG-2 handling wasn't as robust in DGDecNV as DGMPGDec/DGDecode. That's what I remember reading some years ago, so my default for MPEG-2 has been DGMPGDec/DGDecode.

Stax, MPEG2DecPlus is v2.6 colorspace compatible, eg YV24, and I'm guessing that not Avs+ HBD compatible, yes ?

You mean high bit depth? Are there any MPEG2 files with high bit depth?

Dude, take a breath and chill... Not everyone who has a different opinion from you is out to get you or suffers from "DG derangement".
There are perfectly valid reasons why someone might want a modern x64 build of DGMPGDec/DGDecode. MPEG2DecPlus has some of the functionality of DGMPGDec/DGDecode stripped out. DGDecNV does not supersede DGMPGDec/DGDecode in every way nor does every PC have a Nvidia graphics card in it. If you don't want to make such a build (for whatever reason), just say so without all the theatrics and drama. |

You're the one who claimed DGDecNV is not robust. Now you are deflecting from that by attributing all kinds of nonsense to me. I only objected to you calling DGDecNV not robust. Everything else is your own creation.

You really like to slip that idiotic term into your posts whenever you can. Must be some kind of derangement.

Don't which one is "better" between this one and MPEG2DecPlus.
