IfoEdit 0.92 released. (Containes just fixes for Splitting to 2 DVD-Rs)

Go get it.
http://mpucoder.dynodns.net/Derrow/

fixed: chapters will be preserved on the second DVD.
The 2nd Disc late-start is fixed.
The VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP will be created now too (when stripping streams).

I didn't test the splitted DVDs on a standalone player.
So please use -RWs +RWs first, before burning costers with this release.

Wow...thanks, derrow!

question: is there a way to NOT have the menu system on the second disc? have it just start playing the movie?

Sure there is:

I'm sorry, that I didn't automate this step yet, but it's a hell of a work. I need more time.

hi Derrow,

There might be a bug

I'm splitting Ghost world into two DVD-R's. It has 16 chapters.
What ifoedit 0.92 is doing is it skips chapter 2.
so disk 1 has chapter 1 then skips to chapter 3 then has them all up to chapter 10. Interestingly enough, chapter 3 is really chapter 2 in the original movie. but i wonder if it might confuse the menus? i haven't tested the menus yet.

then on disk 2, it starts numbering them chapter 9-16. the 2nd disk should only have chapter 11-16 since the first disk has chapter 10 (well sort of, it actually only has 9 chapters since its skips #2)

Your Disc2 should be okay.

If disc2 would start with a cell that is no chapter point, IfoEdit adds a new chapter for this point to avoid the 'Late Start'.
But this shouldn't effect the Chapter-selection-menu. You should be able now to select the correct chapter through the menu on the second disc. (Please check that out if the menu works on that point).

But the thing on disc1 is strange.
I would need the original and changed IFO to check that.

Ok I ran it through an older ifoedit (0.9) and it doesn't skip chapter 2.

I can send you the IFO files. should I email them to you?
I need to run it through again with the newer Ifoedit since I just over-wrote the bad ones.

can you PM me your email address?

Derrow,
I thought of something else.
Is there some way you could preserve the old functionality too?
The reason is, there are times when I don't want to preserve the menus and just want to split it into two dvd-r's that just play the movie.

Now that the new version renumbers the chapters on the 2nd disc that makes it a little more complicated I think.

I like the idea too, to keep the old functionality.
I'll put an option into IfoEdit, to make it possible.
