multiAVCHD button will generate folder structure and file names compatible with:

* Memory Stick
* SD/MMC
* USB

multiBD button will generate content, suitable for optical media:

* BD
* DVD

AVCHD output does not require most of the folders, but it works fine with them, so I left them being created.

For now, there is no way. I'll add this in next releases.

Yes, I see those lines. I've PM'd you the full contents of the log. I didn't have the original log so I created the whole project again, the problem was exactly the same though.

If it shows playing but no video is shown, than it is MKV incompatible format. PS3 is pickable and MKVs should conform high@4.1 profile.

It is not multiAVCHD malfunction. Did you manage to play anything else generated with mutiavchd?

i think you didnt understand. the menu doesnt show up.
i click on the AVCHD folder from the PS3, and nothing happens, no "play" is shown (the white arrow..).

i can although pick a specific MTS file if i choose "Display all" which lets me see the whole file structure.

thanks

i couldnt play anything with multiavchd, meaning no menu is shown,
even movies that work using avchd_me.
and also it puts the 3 mts files of the menu as the last files in team folder, is that ok?
thanks

Does it work on NTSC systems?

The menu files are 25 FPS

All I'm going by is this, I found it on another site in a Menu making tutorial

Important Note: To improve compatibility for everyone, please create NTSC menus. Menus with 25fps will not play on North American PS3 and will hang. Please ensure that your menus are all NTSC.

I'm not sure how non-european PS3s handle multiAVCHD output. My PS3 plays menus @1920x1080i/25hz(fps).

I have no means to test other platforms, but other users report multiAVCHD usage to be compatible with their SAPs so, that's a stand for me.

I'm 80mins away from new year celebration, so I'll be away for some hours now.

Something I'd ask you is to delete all your posts, that have been answered to, or the ones irrelevant to multiAVCHD developement.

Thank you, and have a nice 2009!

Dean Kasabow

AVCHD standard supports framerates up to 59.94 fps (for 1080p up to 29.97fps) so you don't have to change anything. My PS3 (euro) plays 23.976 and 29.97 fps without problems so I see no reason why your version would not play 25 fps!
