Ah yes, you're right, I neglected to update the guide post since the AVCHD option appeared in TSMuxer. I've fixed that now, thanks for pointing it out.

Not heard of that particular one but it will be one of the many file managers released for the PS3. pkg files can be installed from a usb device on a jailbroken PS3. Hit the PS3 forums for help in that regard.

Ok will have a look around the forum, below is the post from "deank"
who seems a very switched on guy, What I am attempting to to achieve is ahange AVCHD default through the PS3 so I don't have to keep detaching the external HDD to do this, apparently it can be achieved with this file manager?

A quick note for PS3 owners who jailbroke their consoles

The latest version of the "Comgenie's Awsome FileManager" application allows renaming of folders/files directly off the external USB HDD. There is no need to detach the HDD from the PS3 and plug it in the PC to do the rename now.

Yes, you can do that with Dean's file manager, here's a link to it:

PS3News thread

You'll need to jailbreak your PS3 first of course.

Yes, a jailbroken PS3 currently involves a USB device programmed with specific code, there's no way for me to tell if yours is set up correctly of if your PS3 is jailbreakable, as I keep saying, head over to some PS3 specific sites for that side of the problem, this isn't the place.
