I also thought it would be kind of cool if when you press the preview button that you could select one of the images from the grid. Quote:

If the video is XviD/DivX and audio is AC3/DTS/PCM you can use uncropMKV to make a compliant MKV (which can be accepted by multiAVCHD). It has to be reencoded - there is no other option.

hello Dean,
I installed Avisynth, ffdshow and MatroskaSplitter on that notebook and no more errors. With v.602 also on the main computer no problem anymore! You did an increadible job on the program overall, but the last added features are a big step forward. I also agree to drpaulng: Quote:

I'm glad it worked. (thanks for your support!)
Build 602+: * Larger preview in Title editor * "Use frame" button will put current time (in seconds) in "Thumbnail" box to be used as title bg in XMB/THM * Added << and >> to move forward/backward (1 sec) * Added button "Add chapter" - will be enabled later Dean Last edited by deank; 19th May 2009 at 13:12. |

Subtitles ?
Hi
I'm trying to convert a .ts file to a BD structure (I've also tried AVCHD output)... In both cases none of the subtitle streams from the original .ts file seem be to included. I can demux the subtitles from the original .ts file using projectx - and get them out as .sup files Is there something I have misunderstood regarding subtitle support in the program - or maybe I'm just doing it incorrectly ? Regards, Rduck |

Hey there!
If you have your subtitles exported as BD sup file (not Vobsub) and your movie is "movie.ts", place your subtitles in the same folder and name them "movie.sup". Check [x] Add external SRT/SUP subtitles in Audio/Subtitles tab. If you do not succeed - send me a sample so I can look at it. Dean edit: If mediainfo shows something like" Code:
Text ID : 2312 (0x908) Menu ID : 3 (0x3) Format : Teletext Language : English |

Hi Dean,
Some $$ coming your way...great program. To all those whose authoring lives have been made easy...step up and support his tireless work. This app knocks the socks off commercial software and then some. Any way to have some sort of save feature that if you want to alter a compilation of titles add/remove some, that you don't have to go back and re-enter all the thumbnail frame numbers and redo menu titles etc. Thanks. |

Hi
I hust tried to rename the file and place it in the same dir as the .ts file... The log also says: [15:33:01] Adding subtitles (Subtitles.sup) (und) [15:33:01] Generating meta file for tsMuxer... [15:33:01] M2TS stream split set at 8192MiB... When the program has finished its processing, I try to play the m2ts file in the BDMV\STREAM catalog with VLC mediaplayer - and I'm not able to select a subtitle in here... But maybe it isn't possible in VNC ? |

You cannot play AVCHD/Blu-ray structures with regular players and subtitles will never show if you're playing the files, but not the whole structure.
You need either burn it to a disc, play it in Playstation 3 or use Blu-ray software player like Nero Showtime or PDVD or Total Media Theater. |

I think his subtitles are "teletext" format. Uploading a sample will help you more.
Regarding subtitles and PC players. I play m2ts (from AVCHD-BR structure) with MPCHC and I can see and select desired subtitles. enjoy, Mtz |

I was thinking of some kind of 'Save project' option. I'll have to think about it again and will post with results It is a bit tricky, because if you change something in the input files/folders (those listed in Media tab) after you've saved the project some problems may arise. Dean |

Good idea for "save project" if you can
Another suggestion for the menu pages, if avialable : a option to insert audio track (for bakground audio in menu) like as you add for welcome sreen. I saw that you have take of the "pop menu" futur plan, is defenitively out (for technical issu or limitation of AVCHD) ? |

I posted about 10 times about background audio for the menu. If it was possible, I would've added it months ago. When I find a way - I will add such option.
I removed 'pop-up menu' option as I removed "Panasonic SDHC" option some time ago, because there was no space in the GUI (especially for an option not working). Once I implement it - it will appear again. Dean |

Software Player for Subtitles
The only Software I know (after trying almost everything available) which can do all the things we want is Show Time from NERO 9 (with Blu-Ray Video Plugin).
If you load the whole structure (Folder) it will play also the chosen subtitle. If you load e.g. a single m2TS file you need a subtitle file like *.srt (same name as video) and subtitle instantly is shown. Other: 1.) Power DVD 8 only shows subtiles from a disc and lacks of the possibility to open folders. 2.) VLC Player (0.9.9) can open folders and plays everything you want, but also needs the seperate subtitle file. 3.) Media Player Classic also plays everything from HDD, but you never see any subtitle, even if it can be chosen (by klick in the window/"Navigate") and is obviously existing. Example: I muxed a DVD folder together with the before extracted subtitle (with Subrip) to m2TS. Loaded in MPC you can choose the subtitle, but it is not visible. The best thing to get real proof of your subtitles without extra expense is actually (like Dean said) to burn the project on a rewritabel disc and use VLC or MPClassic if you donīt have Nero. strad |
