Encoding Time

Hi,

I'm getting 2 new P4 Xeon 2gb processors along with dual processor motherboard and memory.

Question will this help me reduce my encoding time ?

Cheers in advance.

i believe rempeg2 has a "threads" setting on the main tab.
i believe that you can now set that to "2" instead of "1".

new system should rock!

Cheers of that.

I also heard that it should speed up TMPG as well which will be a bonus.
