Yes they are.

I didn't realise that IanB documented the latest changes offline. So the entries in the wiki are a bit different. I will merge the differences later.

Point of note, the Pictures folder in v2.6a4 setup FilterSDK is still missing (was missing and noted in this thread for 2.6a3)
so will not appear via html docs (I added it from CVS for 2.6a3 CHM).
DirectshowSource.htm has been updated since 2.6a4 release on CVS.

Shall post here other anomalies as I find them.

Linkchecker (brilliant) as posted previously in this thread has moved to GitHub from SourceForge,
latest version v8.4, homesite here:-
http://wummel.github.com/linkchecker/
EDIT: Tip, sort the results by filename/url before you export the html.

DirHTML (by Eric Nitzsche, there are several by same title) is updated to v4.871 (portable and setup $ver),
http://dirhtml.home.comcast.net/~dirhtml/

Given a directory of files, will create an HTML table of links to those files. We use it in CHM help
to create a table pointing to all contained files so that you can visit every file without following link
after link, going around and around in circles. Can also point it a directory of eg mp3/mp4 etc files, and it
will result in a clickable table of links to those mp3/mp4's (real handy).

Is there now no Wavsource.htm in docs. It is referenced in "\advancedtopics\importing_media.htm" ?

here bad local links
Code:
bad path (../ missing) and wavsource.htm NOt exist.
"\advancedtopics\importing_media.htm"	"corefilters/wavsource.htm"	"../corefilters/wavsource.htm"

"faq_yv12.htm" "corefilters/directshowsource"	"corefilters/directshowsource.htm"

"imagesource.htm" "imagewriter" "imagewriter.htm"

"English/syntax_userdefined_scriptfunctions.htm"	"../../../docs/english/syntax_internal_functions_boolean.htm" "syntax_internal_functions_boolean.htm"

"English/syntax_userdefined_scriptfunctions.htm"	"../../../docs/english/syntax_internal_functions_control.htm" "syntax_internal_functions_control.htm"
as well as the missing FilterSDK Pictures folder & pics previously mentioned.

Missing in FilterSDK in avisynth Setup.
"C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\FilterSDK\Pictures"

Perhaps yours exists from an earlier version of Avisynth that did install it.

EDIT: Have just renamed avisynth dir, and reinstalled, it aint there.

It should have "compiling" and "debugging" plugins pics in it.

EDIT: below what I wrote in an edit to LigH, earlier in this thread.

Quote:
I did not realize it but there is a copy of FilterSDK in 2.6 source CVS (and without the
missing "Pictures" folder and files in alpha3 setup). I should have used that.
EDIT: I downloaded and added the missing pics from the Wiki.

Yes the install and uninstall scripts need to be taught about the FilterSDK\Pictures directory.

Been a bug since March 2010

New Version "Avisynth_v2.6.0a4 & FILTERSDK-HELP.chm_20130321.zip" see 1st post (or sig)

Bad local links in Alpha4 FilterSDK docs (fixed in CHM)

Code:
file:///C|/Program%20Files/AviSynth%202.5/FilterSDK/TwoFiveFastInvert.htm	Below should be 'htm'
AviSynthTwoFiveSDK.html
IntegerSSE.html
TwoFiveInvert.html
MMX.html

file:///C|/Program%20Files/AviSynth%202.5/FilterSDK/DataStorageInAviSynth.htm
"../corefilters/convert.htm" "../Docs/English/corefilters/convert.htm"
"../corefilters/layer.htm" "../Docs/English/corefilters/layer.htm"
"../corefilters/crop.htm" "../Docs/English/corefilters/crop.htm"
"../faq.htm" "../Docs/English/faq.htm"

file:///C|/Program%20Files/AviSynth%202.5/FilterSDK/VideoInfo.htm
"../../docs/english/corefilters/separatefields.htm" "../Docs/English/corefilters/separatefields.htm"
"../../docs/english/corefilters/weave.htm" "../Docs/English/corefilters/weave.htm"
Not going to bother doing the non Filter SDK version unless there is massive outcry.

EDIT: I just left the unreferenced "syntax_internal_functions_multithreading.htm" in situ.
I removed the unreferenced .css files from Docs. Only avisynth.css is used.

Possible case of improvement:

Links on the page "Colors" (BlankClip, Letterbox, AddBorders and FadeXXX) unnecessarily call external pages from the AviSynth MediaWiki.

Well, just what I noticed in a random sample; I am not certain that they are the only ones.

Yes, there are quite possibly more, I dont look at the bad external links, and Doom9 and the wiki all bar
access to the LinkChecker. (EDIT: Perhaps a D9 username and password would get around that, never tried it)
There were only two files added since a3, Echo.htm and Preroll.htm.
DirectShowSource.htm was updated on CVS (EDIT: since a4).
Doing a decompile into your Avisynth directory should I think fix the links and update DirectShowSource.htm
to same as the CHM.

In CHM Table Of Contents (LHS) when in "Version History/Avisynth 2.6" (English/twopointsix.htm)
when you click on "here" (<a href="corefilters/convert.htm" target="main">here</a>")
it brings up convert.htm (internal CHM version) in separate Internet Explorer, no idea why.
Not a big problem really.

EDIT: In titlebar: mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\AVSEdit\help\english.chm::/Docs/english/corefilters/convert.htm

Think maybe problem is with "main" window: (engsdk.hhc, CHM contents file)
Code:
