CloneDVD or DVDFab

I've been using CloneDVD to create backups of my DVD9 movies, to DVD+R single layer media. I know that DVDRebuilder can't get much higher quality transconding but it is also much slower. What do you think about DVDFab's transconding engine? Does it produces better quality or it's just a ffmpeg ripoff?

Stick to Rebuilder. Never compromise quality for time (unless the % reduction is so minimal as to be almost irrelevant, and then use DVD Shrink, DVD2One or Nero Recode even).

You gotta test that for yourself and your viewing equipment. You're the only one who knows what's satisfactory for you.
