Direct Stream Copy using AGK
I have a large number of XviD avi files that I cannot get to play on my PS3. I have found that simply doing a Direct Stream Copy (and nothing else) using VirtualDubMod will fix the problem and make the avi playable on the PS3.
Is there anyway of doing this via AGK? I would like to use the batch functionality to do a bunch of these at a time. I do not want to re-encode or convert them as that takes around 15 minutes per avi vs. 45 seconds if I just use VirtualDubMod to do the Direct Stream Copy. Thanks for a great front end tool by the way! |

Hello and welcome to the forum-
No, you can't batch Direct Stream Copy using AutoGK. And you don't need to when you can do it directly in VDubMod. When the time comes to save the AVI, check the "don't run this job now" box when giving it a new name. Set up all the AVIs you have, and then go into the Job Control (File->Job Control) to start the ball rolling. |

That was my guess. We might never know, though, unless hamah comes back to tell us. If they have the .divx extension, I would think just renaming them as .avi would be good enough, but I've been told direct streaming them to .avi is better.
