Computer Can't Read Burned DVD-R's, but Xbox and Standalones CAN!

Hey all. I own a Sony DRU500A and recently burned a DATA Disc using RecordNow Max. It burned fine, however neither my DVD-ROM or DVD+-R/RW could not read it. Windows XP just showed that the drive was empty. So I burned the same compilation onto A DVD+RW and windows xp recognized it without a problem. Burned onto another DVD-R and same thing, it showed the drive as empty. As well I recently tried some DVD Movies I had ripped, and same thing, they would not read, however they work great in my XBOX , Playstation 2, and all my dvd standalones.

Does anybody have any idea what's up, I have the latest Sony Firmware and have SP1. All help is deeply appreciated.

Sounds like the software may not be closing/finialising the -R disc properly.
